11 Years Strong: Celebrating SelfieBox and Our Gauteng Team
Eleven years of SelfieBox. One very grateful team. Our 11th anniversary gave us plenty to celebrate, and on 25 October our Gauteng branch got together for its 2026 year-end celebration. This time, the people who help make your events happen had a chance to enjoy a celebration of their own.
There were bowling lanes, arcade games, big smiles and, naturally, plenty of photos. Add some AI transformations to the mix and our team album became something a little out of the ordinary.
A thank you to the people behind the booths
If you have had SelfieBox at your event, you will know how much the person beside the booth matters. Our attendants welcome guests, help them get comfortable in front of the camera and keep the photo fun going. Behind those moments are the loading, setting up and packing away that guests rarely see.
Our Gauteng year-end was a chance to say thank you to that team. To spend time together, have a laugh and celebrate the people whose energy and care go into every booking. We love seeing them bring that same personality to their own photos.
We also celebrated our best attendant with a prize, recognising the care and effort that go into making our clients’ events a success.
Our team, with an AI twist
We spend so much time helping other people make memories that it is good to step in front of the camera ourselves. The year-end gallery gave our team a chance to try some very different looks.
From glamorous red-carpet portraits to miniature photo-booth characters and bright illustrated artwork, the AI photos turned familiar faces into a whole new cast. The personalised Year End 2026 frame brought the collection together. Same team, a few unexpected transformations, and plenty to smile about afterwards.
Celebrating 11 years
Looking at these faces is a reminder of what eleven years of SelfieBox really means. There are people behind every photo: the clients who trusted us with their celebrations, the guests who joined in, and the teams who made it all possible.
To everyone who has booked us, recommended us, worked alongside us or supported us along the way: thank you. Whether you first met us years ago or at your most recent event, you are part of this story.

Above all, we thank God for His faithfulness and provision through these eleven years. Through the good days and the difficult ones, He has carried us. We celebrate this milestone with grateful hearts and continue to trust Him for what lies ahead.
There are more people to meet, more places to go and more memories to make. For now, we are grateful for a moment together with our Gauteng team, celebrating how far we have come.
