How much space is required for your SelfieBox booths?

Accepted Answer

Most SelfieBox setups are extremely compact. The HaloBox and Tuxedo start from roughly 0.5m x 0.5m x 1.5m high, while the SelfieBox and Nano are around 1m x 0.5m. In most cases, a level 1m x 2m area is enough. Inflatable booths need more room at about 2.5m x 2.5m x 2.5m.

Can I split up my photo booth hire hours?

Yes. Idle hours can be added if you want the booth paused between active periods. This works especially well for weddings where the booth is used during canapes, paused for dinner and speeches, then switched back on later for the reception.

How does the setup work and what is the SelfieBox attendant’s role?

An attendant is included with every booking. They usually arrive about an hour before the hire time, set up the booth, stay for the event to assist guests and manage consumables, and then break down quietly afterward. Additional attendants can be added for features like sleeves, card printing, sticker printing or Mosaic Walls.

Can any of the SelfieBox range of booths be used outside?

Yes, the booths can be used indoors or outdoors, weather permitting. If rain starts, the setup needs to move inside. Shade or a gazebo is recommended for daytime outdoor use to reduce harsh light, heat and unwanted shadows on the backdrop.

Do you provide backdrops and what are the sizes?

Yes. You can use your own venue backdrop, choose a green or blue screen banner wall with themed replacements, or use a plain white or black banner wall. The standard banner walls are approximately 2.25m x 2.25m.

How do I get the digital copies of my photos?

For HaloBox, Tuxedo, Vintage and Shift, photos and GIFs are delivered via a custom microsite and download links, with galleries typically available for 6 months. For SelfieBox, Nano, InstaBox and SloMoBox, a free 16GB USB with the original and customised files is usually handed over at the end of the event.

Do you provide on-site printing?

Yes. Prints-included packages come with unlimited prints, with options like jumbo, strip, square and double-postcard formats. Sticker printing and direct card printing are also available for things like badges, gifting and registrations. Some booths support wireless printing, while others have built-in printers.

How does the Photo, GIF or Video booth work?

Guests simply follow the screen prompts, wait for the countdown and pose. The booth captures a sequence of shots a few seconds apart, shows the previews on-screen and then prints or delivers the final output. Self-operation is also possible and is especially popular with younger, tech-comfortable crowds.
