Digital Props at the SelfieBox Year-End 2017

On 4 December 2017, the SelfieBox team turned our year-end celebration into a live demonstration of one of the HaloBox’s most playful features: digital props.

Instead of handing guests physical hats and glasses, the booth placed festive props directly onto faces in the photograph. Santa hats, cat whiskers, bow ties and pixel sunglasses appeared instantly, changing automatically as the group posed for each shot.

How HaloBox digital props work

The HaloBox identifies faces in the camera view and positions each digital element to follow the person. Several guests can use the feature together, which makes it especially entertaining for teams and larger groups.

More fun without a crowded prop table

Digital props give guests variety without requiring a large collection of physical accessories. They also stay aligned with each face, allow themes to change quickly and can carry an event’s own creative style.

The feature remains available as part of our Props & Filters experience, alongside custom AR filters and glam beauty overlays. Experiences can be mixed and matched to suit the event.
