When God Enlarges a Vision: Taking Territory for His Kingdom!

Some dreams begin as plans. Others awaken while you are planted where faith, vision and service are lived consistently.

The directors of SelfieBox have been members of Christian Revival Church for more than 20 years. They met at CRC, started a business together and launched SelfieBox in 2015.

This is not a story about how great a company is. It is about what can happen when ordinary people plug into their local Church, serve, sow into a vision bigger than themselves and let that vision stretch their faith.

Write the vision

Habakkuk 2:2–3 teaches us to write the vision clearly and wait for its appointed time. God-given dreams often require years of preparation and obedience before others can see them.

CRC’s vision is clear: one Church in many locations. From Bloemfontein to Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Potchefstroom and beyond, every location remains part of one spiritual family and purpose.

That vision inspired the thought of one SelfieBox family in many locations. This does not compare a company to God’s House. It shows how sitting under a large Kingdom vision can enlarge the way you see your own assignment.

Enlarge the tent

Isaiah 54:2–3 says to enlarge the tent, stretch out and strengthen the stakes. Expansion needs faith and preparation: making room before everything has arrived.

CRC has modelled this through decades of planting and building. Its Cape Town expansion project in Paarden Eiland gives members another opportunity to sow into a place where future generations can encounter Jesus.

Honouring faithful leadership

We honour Pastor At Boshoff for guiding the Church over weeks, months, years and decades. His leadership has consistently challenged people to look beyond comfort, take responsibility and believe God for cities and nations.

Honour recognises the sacrifice and consistency of leadership that keeps pointing people back to Jesus, God’s Word and their responsibility to make a difference.

Seedtime, harvest and the Kingdom first

Genesis 8:22 reminds us that seedtime and harvest remain. Mark 4:26–32 shows that the Kingdom can begin like a small seed yet grow far beyond its beginning.

Some seasons are for sowing, serving and learning. Matthew 6:33 gives the order: seek first God’s Kingdom and trust Him with the harvest.

Take the next step

Joshua 1:3 speaks about every place where your foot treads. Faith must eventually become movement: a first step, a new team, a new location or a seed sown in obedience.

SelfieBox began in Gauteng and expanded into other provinces over the years. The unfinished vision is to have a branch in every one of South Africa’s nine provinces, serving through one connected family and delivering products and service with excellence.

The important point is not the brand or scale. Someone else’s faithful obedience can encourage you to believe God more boldly for what He has entrusted to you.

Your local Church can enlarge your vision

Your vision may involve family, ministry, work, a community project or helping people in a way only you can:

• Plant yourself in a healthy local Church.
• Seek God’s Kingdom before personal recognition.
• Honour and learn from faithful spiritual leadership.
• Serve with the gifts already in your hands.
• Sow into a vision larger than your own immediate needs.
• Write the vision, prepare for growth and keep moving in faith.
• Trust God with both seedtime and harvest.

The next decade brings excitement as we keep sowing the right seed and taking giant leaps for God. Your beginning may look small, but keep serving and strengthening the stakes. With God on your side, nothing is impossible.
